what do the pictures on the four corners of a ouija board symbolize
I assume that you asre referring to the most common of boards, the Parker Bros. version. If so, the images on the top corners represent the sun and the moon, the ones in the bottom corners are just depictions of people using the board. I guess to add to the spookiness factor of it.
Also, I have heard that if your planchette starts going to all four corners, it means that you've made contact with an evil spirit.
Whatever you do, do NOT let the planchette go to all four corners. If it begins to direct you to them and is continuing to go to the fourth corner say good-bye. You have contacted an evil spirit, as said above, and this is for safety reasons. Also moving to the four corners will release the demon or entity from the board as well as going through 0 to 9 and any row of letters.
It depends on the brand of board you are using as to what decorations may be on there and what they represent.
A ouija board and planchette made out of anything has the potential of working. However I advise that you proceed with caution.
Ouija Board Handicap was created in 1997.
Most Ouija boards are made of cardboard or wood. They can be elaborately decorated or just letters and numbers on a piece of paper. Traditionally, the Ouija Board is laid out on wood, and decorated up with different symbols such as the sun and moon. It has the full alphabet laid out in order, with the words yes and no usually in the top corners, and the words Hello and Goodbye in the bottom corners. It also has numbers from 0 to 9 under the alphabet.
If you have cause for concern, take the Ouija board and SAFELY burn it outside of your home.
You can use an Ouija board anywhere you like - it is your Ouija board. But you need to remember that any psychic or psychological disturbance it creates will be attached to the people who use it, not to the place where it is used. Anything you dream up in the park will follow you home.
Well, since its now 2014(as I am posting this, who knows what year people will be reading this post), if you had played the Ouija board in the past, if it revealed anything which happened in 2012, then I suppose that it can.

I believe one of the traditions after a ouija ceremony is to slightly burn each of the four corners of the board. If you want to destroy one entirely or if it was an improvised one on a piece of paper, burn the whole thing. But Run Away FAST If You Are Gonna Burn The Thing

There is no difference. It is simply a matter of mispronunciation of the correct name: Ouija.
