No.
That would be pretty difficult for them to do, seeing as how they don't have kings anymore. Egyptians did not mummify their rulers at any time after the Roman Conquest (over 2000 years ago).
Yes but they don't mummify anymore. Mummification is not still practiced in Egypt in the same manner that it was in the days of the Pharaohs, but bodies are still embalmed, which is a variant of mummification. Bear in mind that the religion of ancient Egypt (a religion currently known as Egyptian mythology) is not followed anymore, and Egypt has become a predominantly Muslim country instead. At the present time, burial customs in Egypt are quite similar to those of most other countries.
No, but there are companies that do that sort of thing for people.
The pharaohs were like those rulers of ancient Egypt. It is not like the British rulers. Their empire was pretty small, because of the vast land space and less population. With those few people, they brought out great knowledge to the world. I guess they are considered to be the first people to make paper in the name papyrus. And look at those great pyramids which is basically built to keep in the Pharaoh's body after death. A separate pyramid for each pharaoh. The mummify the body to preserve it and fill the pyramid with gold and precious stones. these pyramids still stand as architectural marvels and no wonder they are among the seven wonders of the world.
the people their were still slaves
The Egyptians mummified their rulers and dead ones, because they believed that their bodies were still alive in the sense. But simply sleeping and taking a journey into the Underworld. Hey, we still do the same today by burying our dead loved ones.
It was and still in Upper Egypt
Pyramids still do exist in Egypt, but as tourist attractions.
Egypt has an enormous climate advantage. When it's wintertime in Europe, and people still want to eat strawberries and cucumbers, you can grow them in Egypt and sell them in Europe.
yes cats are still remembered in Egypt because of the fact that the sphynx is still there
No...Egypt is a Republic
In the Early Middle Ages, Egypt was still under the East Roman Empire, and had not changed much. The, in the seventh century, the Arabs took over and many people converted to Islam. After that, it remained rather stable, for the most part. Egypt was still Egypt, and did its fundamental nature did not change.
