  1. Protists help because they help you make things such as ice cream, shampoo, etc...
  2. They also do photosynthesis and photosynthesis is not harmful to animals or people.(If it is a plant protists)
  3. Protists help because they live off of the cells. If the cells die it dies. It does not harm the animal or anything that it is in because it wants to keep the cells alive so it will stay alive.

I hope this helps you!!

It depends on the protist. If i remember correctly, they make up a large part, if not all, of the bacteria, which can range from making you sick to being edible.

Do Protists help or hurt the inside of the animal they live in?

it helps the animal inside them. It lives off of the animal it does NOT eat the animal or it's flesh it lives off of the cells so if the cells die it dies. It is helpful sinx=ce it wants the cells to live.

What is the major difference between the protist kingdom and the animal kingdom?

The major difference between the protist and the animal kingdom is protists are unicellular protozoans and unicellular & multicellular, but animals are multicellular animals. For example, you could say protists are heterotrophs or autotrophs, and animals are only heterotrophs. However, animals such as sea anemones and coral can be both. So, I would go with these three: 1. Multicellular animals, protists, single celled. However, there are some protists that are multicellular, like brown algae. 2. method of movement: protists - cilia, pseudopods, flagella. animals, muscles and bones. 3. reproduction: animals mainly sexual with egg and sperm, protists binary fission.

Protists are simple animals made up of?

Protists are made up of very large, diverse group of organisms, including the plant-like protists (algae), fungi-like protists, and the animal-like protists (protozoans). They are all eukaryotic, and most are unicellular.

What makes the protists group unique or different?

Protists are a diverse collection of eukaryotic organisms but they are not plants, fungi, or animals.

What are eukaryotes that aren't plans fungi or animals called?

protists
