Yes, try looking at Wal-Mart or PetSmart/ PetCo.
http://www.cavycages.com provides information on SAFE inexpensive home-made cages that owners can make.
around $100-$200 but you can make your own one for cheaper
By giving it tunnels and things to do and chew........ (make sure these are treats etc that you give them to chew) Guinea pigs love parsley bells (you can buy these from pet shops)
Guinea Pigs don't make nest and their babies are fully developed. They usually give birth in their cages and the babies stands in his own feet just after a minute.
I prefer already built cages over custom built ones as they tend to last longer. I got my guinea pig's cage here http://www.petproductsbyroyal.com/rabbit-guinea-pig/
guinea pigs can be housed in a 3x2 cage inside or a 3x2 hutch (insolated for winter) out side make sure to cleen cages every week at least 1 time. i cleen mine every day because i love and care extra for my guinea pigs.
One that has space and it needs to be high enough so they wont get out. C&C cages are one of the best ones out there and you make it your self.
Guinea pigs don't actually nest under their bedding like hamsters, but they do love to hide in spaces like their Igloo, and they like to crawl through tunnels and things. But make sure you guinea pig has alot of space to run in its cage. Hope this helps! :)
I would recommend the kind with the plastic pan bottom and wire top. If it has a door at the top and the side that is a plus. It should not have a wire bottom because this can hurt the guinea pigs feet. The bigger the cage the better. Hope that helps.
1. unplug side plug (it is usually a half circle on the plastic side thing connecting the wire front and back things) 2. take plastic tunnel and put it where the plastic plug was 3. connect other tunnels using rubber thing that should come with tunnel 4. MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO GAPS OR YOU WILL FIND YOUR HAMSTER OUT OF THE CAGE 5. MAKE SURE THERE IS AN ENDING TO THE TUNNELS. it could round back INTO the cage or it cut off using plug.
Yeah, guinea pigs can excersize. They don't run around much in their cage. It will help to excersize them if you make a large run in your garden. Use tubes, outdoor cages and make sure they have a hutch if it rains or if it is cold.
it depends on how many guinea pigs you have. this website gives you a minimum http://www.guineapigcages.com/ don't forget you want more ground area than height. making a C&C cage is a lot cheaper than buying store bought cages and you can make it however you want.
