That's a rumor that was started. Trollbeads are older that Pandora and have a smaller chain so you can fit all the Pandora beads onto the troll but not vise versa as the screw on Pandora is too big for the hole in trollbeads. Trollbeads generally have more detail than Pandora and have a very large selection of beads. I'd recommend getting the troll bracelet because you can fit both types of beads and have more options. Both are great but this gives you more options! Both or neither.....Trollbeads and Pandora were both started by brothers so obviously the designs are similar. European bead bracelet are very popular and there are other obvious knock off's of both trollbead and Pandora. Both lines are very well made and are interchangeable to some degree. Pandora seems to be known a bit better here in the USA but Trollbeads are gaining in popularity as well.

That would depend on what the bracelet is made out of. Links are easy enough, metel bracelets are alittle harder and may require a jeweler.
