No warnings were issued for the eruption of Krakatoa in 1883. The science of volcanology as we know it was virtually nonexistent and we had no ability to predict eruptions. The volcano did give off warning signs, though. It started venting steam four months before the eruption and smaller eruptions occurred for two months before the cataclysmic eruption of August 26.
Seismographs around can detect earthquakes that may cause tsunamis. There also buoys out at sea that can detect if a tsunami is coming.
Not sure, but if you look at the water and the tide is way farther out than it should be, you might want to evacuate.
No, but there is a warning system in most oceans fortsunamis.

Tsunami warnings in Australia are provided by the Australian Tsunami Warning System. This is a national collaboration between the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, Geoscience Australia and the Attorney-General's Department. More information about the Australian Tsunami Warning System can be found at the related link below.
There was a tsunami, but it was triggered by a volcanic eruption, not an earthquake.
Warning doesn't make any difference because tsunami is another name for destruction it just alerts the people mentally or you can say creates a panic.
