I don't think it has much influence on how good the horse is. Training, temperament and several other factors are what really count.
This is a matter of opinion. They both have good things going for them, and which is better for you depends on what you are looking for in a horse.
Horses are good friends because they are nice and gentle (well most of them are ). if you have a horse that is wild don't be mean to it or abuse it other wise it will be scared of you. horses are really good friends if you treat them right. i used to have one horse and one pony they were really good friends. but the horse died of colic a sickness horses can get. also the pony we had to sell because she liked to buck alot.
Confirmation, breeding and training have more to do with a good jumping horse than age, but most horses younger than 4 or older than 20 will not be among the better jumping horses.
Tennessee Walking horses are not the fastest horses. They run about the same speed as most other horses, around 25-30 mph. They are really smooth though, in all their gaits, trot and lope included, from my experience. They are really good horses. However, if you want a really fast horse for short distances, a Quarter horse would be a better breed. They can run at 55 miles an hour for about a quarter of a mile. For a slightly slower horse but with more stamina, you could look into a thoroughbred who run closer to 40 mph. Other horses run about 25-30 mph like the Tennessee walker.
Well I have a Tennessee Walking Horse and she is really smart and a good listener. And Tennessee Walking Horses are popular for their natural gait.
There are some horses going for free (please not though that these are most likely not good horses) The price for the horse all depends on what he is used for, how good he is at it, how well trained his is, healthy horses will sell for more, as will more attractively colored horses. So, you cannot really answer this question as it varies.
None- a really good horse is 10k plus, you don't buy online
HorseIsle.com is pretty good. You can catch the horses and train them and ride them, trade and do quests. Really fun.
Horses with a light to medium workload will be fine on (and are actually better off with) only a grass/grass hay diet with a mineral block and fresh water. Make sure it is good quality grass hay. Do not feed much, if any, alfalfa; it is really rich and grass hay would be better. A few treats are ok too. Apples, carrots, sugar cubes, horse treats, are all fine in moderation. Grain is a common food for horses, but is not really necessary unless the horse is in a heavy workload and can do more harm than good for horses on a light to medium workload. you do not have to feed your horse only hay you could feed your horse speedybeat mix and you could also feed them a kind of barley and mints.
I know a really good game with horses and other animals in it called animal jam, but you have to be a paid member to use horses. otherwise try horse isle.
Sure. It doesnt really matter. I feed my horse a mix between brumuta and fescue.
It means that the person knows A LOT about horses. For example, if you can name all the parts of a horse, then you have horse sense. Generally, it means that the person has good common sense.
