In my experience they absolutely do work. I moved into my current apartment 3 1/2 years ago. After moving in and inspecting it closer there were clear signs there had been a roach infestation before i had moved in (lots of roach poop in between cracks in the kitchen, between the walls and cupboards) I hoped that it had been taken care of after the previous tenants moved out but sure enough when the first summer rolled around i was overrun by roaches! I tried everything i could think of for over two years, all the bombs, powders and sprays that i could get my hands on. Honestly it was only out of desperation that i tried the ultrasonic bug repeller, it was really a last ditch effort. I had decided if these didn't work i would have to move out. But within a couple days i noticed no visible roaches. I could walk into the kitchen at night, turn on the light and not see a bug scampering across the floor. I've had them for about 1 1/2 years and they have kept the bugs at bay. In that time i have seen less than 10 roaches. I use two now, one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. I'm going to invest in a couple more this summer to hopefully bring the number of roach sightings down to zero for good. And all of them will have cost me about $50. So i would definitely suggest trying them.

it depends on the frecuency, so... the answer is "yes" if you buy a bees repellent (but dont expect any effects over the mosquitoes) and vice versa
