It would be unlikely that a raccoon would attempt to capture a weasel. While the weasel is considerably smaller than a raccoon, they can be vicious fighters and they have an additional weapon - they can spray a nasty smelling fluid that rivals a skunk for being unpleasant. Raccoons generally will avoid any confrontation and prefer smaller defenseless animals.
