Step 10: Release the blinds and let them hang properly. Test that you can open and close them properly as well. You have now successfully measured and installed your mini blind window treatments, and you will now be able to block out a lot of the sun. However, you should remember that blinds are not insulating window treatments, just light filtering. You may want to consider adding additional window coverings over the mini blinds if you desire insulation as well.
