The most common group of practitioners that refer to themselves as "witches" are found in Wicca and other Neo-Pagan paths. Wiccans and Neo-Pagans generally do not believe in Satan, and therefore, do not worship the deity called Satan.
Satan (in name and concept) stems from ancient Jewish belief, and was originally a role assigned by God to an angel or agent to test man. Later, the name Satan began to be associated with Lucifer (a fallen angel), and progressed into a specific name or being especially within Christianity and Islam.
Those that profess to worship Satan usually find their basis of belief in Christianity or other specialized paths that emerged in modern times.
A Satanic Witch might, but in general witches usually use their knowledge to help others, and lift their spirits. In the case of Wiccan's and many other pagan religions, they do not serve something they do not believe exists. In some cases, there are some who believe that it's God who is working through them, and that the magic they do is of God.
Puritans believed that witches were the servants or sexual assistants of the devil. They believed that women who did not live with a man were at the greatest risk for being seduced by the devil. They linked witchcraft with the devil and hell.

The church in the Renaissance condemned and persecuted witches because they believed witchcraft to be a form of heresy and devil worship. Witches were seen as a threat to Christian piety and morality, as well as to the social and political order. The church's teachings also associated women with the devil, which contributed to the widespread belief that most witches were female.

Most witches ether have no religion or are pagan. So can you be related to something that you don't believe is real? If your asking if witches worship the devil (and that's where they get their powers) then no. The connection between witches and the Christian devil was made hundreds of years ago and is unfounded.
