Some wolves hunt alone, but some wolves hunt in packs. When they hunt in packs they don't just jump up to it, first they stalk it (elk, moose, deer, ect), then they do a plan to gather them together and catch them OR run them into a ditch, canyon, river, stream, ect. Great question :)
nobody it's on top of the food chain does that help?
No, wolves' taste buds are not located in their stomach. Like humans, wolves have taste buds on their tongues that help them assess the taste of food before swallowing it. The stomach's main function is to digest food, not to taste it.
Wolves get their food by hunting it down usually in a pack.
because, they needed their strong sense of smell to help them hunt and track down food when they were still wolves/close descendants of wolves.
Wolves regurgatate to make edible food for their cubs (baby wolves) until the cubs can eat solid food.
First of all without wolves there would be dead animals laying around. Wolves eat the elderly animals. once they die, not only will the food chain be messed up but, the whole world will be disorganized!
it has to have a place to sleep and to live and have food and place to have and raise their pups
Wolves and coyotes may compete for some of the same food. No wolves equals more food for coyotes. More food equals more coyotes.
they get there food by hunting it
Wolves compete for food and space primarily through territorial behaviors and pack dynamics. They establish territories that they defend against other packs, ensuring access to resources like prey and den sites. Within their packs, wolves hunt cooperatively, using strategies to maximize their success in catching food while minimizing competition among pack members. This social structure allows them to effectively manage their resources and maintain their survival in the wild.
It's better for climbing and catching prey.
