No. Not really. The doctors consider this a minor flu. If you catch the flu in its early stages then you would probably be able to survive with the antibiotics the paramedics give you. But sometimes the Swine Flu goes away on its own. It attacks weak immune systems. For babies it can attack them between the ages of 1 and 6. For elders it can attack between the ages of 60 and older. But be sure to go to the doctor immediately if you can not breathe or cannot hold out one part of your body for 5 seconds without it feeling tired while having the flu. But don't freak out over a little symptom for example: "Oh my God I sneezed!!! Ahhh! I have the swine flu!!!". No. You don't it's a sneeze.

A lot of it is media hype. There are a whole range of flu viruses around the world at any moment in time and people do die from the flu, but usually people who have other factors, such as age or a weak immune system as already mentioned. This one may be a bit more serious, but even already they are saying it is not as serious as first thought.
