Buy the new fillter and gasket from the auto parts store. get a large oil drain pan and place it under the transmission pan. Loosen all of the bolts except the front row neast the engine. As you loosen the bolts the fluid will drain into the pan. when the fluid quits dripping remove the rest of the bolts. The filter is located on the bottom of the transmission. remove the one or two bolts holding the filter on. Replace with new filter and put the pan back on with a new gasket. torque to the recommended spec (usually 13 to 22 ft lbs) and put NEW tranny fluid in to replace the fluid that is in the drain pan.
