Yes. Unless you want to collect seed. If you cut off the old flower down to the first leaf you will get new growth and secondary flowers. Not as good as the first flush but worth having nonetheless.

After the plant has bloomed, cut the stems down as short as possible so that all the plants energy goes into generating new shoots and new blooms.
