In my opinion, I would have to say deep sleeper. It's difficult to wake up deep sleepers, so I'm guessing they tend to have more time to dream. Light sleepers? Wake up to often to even dream.

: I have to agree with the person above. It's rather hard to wake out of a dream, since most of the time people think it's real (while dreaming it). Light sleepers seem to snap right out of it, but for deep sleepers, whatever is happening outside the dream seems to happen in it as well.

Why do people talk in their dreams and don't remember their dream when wake up?

When you go to sleep, your body goes through 3 stages. 1. Light sleep, 2. Deep sleep. and 3. Dream sleep. Number 3 is where you have all your dreams. It only takes around 30 minutes to go through the system, that's why people usually have a few dreams each night. If you wake up in the middle of your dream, you remember it If you wake up after your dream finished, you forget it.

Why do you flinch when you sleep?

Yes it's very common especially in light sleep as you are still drifting into deep sleep (REM sleep), and are still physically aware of where you are. You begin dreaming as soon as you start drifting off to sleep and if anything happens to make you jump in your dream, your body will respond to it as if it were real, making you flinch. Eventually when you fall into deep sleep you don't normally flinch or jump up during dreams.

Is rem sleep deep?

3/13/2012 jhh: REM sleep is NOT deep sleep. In fact, it is the lightest stage of sleep. In order from awake to deep sleep: AWAKE, REM, LIGHT, DEEP. Deep sleep and REM sleep are the most important stages though. Light sleep doesn't do much for you. Deep replenishes your body, while REM replenishes your mind. Older answer (not accurate): Yes. It is the deeper form of sleep that we experience during our sleep cycle, rem sleep is where dreaming occurs But not the deepest sleep, which would be delta. That's where, unless your a mother and hear your baby cry, you are oblivious to your environment.

Is it possible to trump while asleep?

Yes, it is possible to trump while asleep, but only in light sleep. When you are in deep sleep your body is completely shut down, this is why you often cannot dream in the middle of the night. But when you are in light sleep (just after going to bed/ just before waking up) your body is slightly awake and alert, which means you can trump while sleeping.
