If by dolphin you really mean porpoise, then the answer is obviously, No.
Porpoises are mammals and the commercial bycatch must be returned to the sea.
"Dolphins" on the other hand are great game fish and superb table fare.
If you've ever ordered "Mahi-Mahi" in a restaurant then you too have eaten dolphin.
"Mahi-Mahi" is the Hawaiian word for "dolphin", the name that American restaurants
now prefer to use instead of 'Dolphin', to avoid confusion with the mammal.
