the only way you get credit for daycare if you pay support is if the child or children reside with you or you can get your ex wife/husband to agree to it.
If the grandparents have had custody the parents of the child have to pay them child support. If you by child care mean daycare that is also the parents who pay for that.
as long as the child support agency is reporting it to credit bureau theres no way but to pay it that i know of
That is an excellent question. In order to modify child support in Rhode Island there must be a substantial change in Circumstances. Child support is based on the circumstances as they exist at the time of filing of the motion or the Court date. If you live in Rhode Island I would suggest that you file your case to modify child support 30-40 days prior to the commencement of daycare and schedule the motion date on the date that dayce begins. The Rhode Island minimum child support guidelines take into account both the importance and expense of daycare. The child support guidelines and worksheet are used to determine the proper amount of child support to be paid by the non-possessory parent. The bottom line is that a party will be ordered to pay approximately the same percentage of the daycare that the party makes in relation to that party's percentage of the combined gross income of both parties. For example: If the husband makes $100,000.00 and the wife makes $50,000.00 the combined gross income for the parties is $150,000.00. Therefore, the husband makes 66 percent of the income and will be ordered to pay 66 percent of the daycare in addition to child support. (There may be an adjustment to take into account the federal tax credit for daycare) This amount is added onto the minimum Child Support Guidelines amount.
No, credit cards are not considered a form of income and cannot be used to pay for child support.
Probably, but there should be a credit for past-due support owed to you.
No tax credit and no tax deduction on your income tax return for child support payments.
If you're a veteran. Otherwise you can pay it online
If those are the terms of the original child support order they have to be followed. If both parents are agreeable on the support order being modified for reasons as described. They should petition the court where the order was mandated to have the terms amended.
The parents should return to court to change custody and terminate support. The court may order the mother to pay support and might credit her for the father's arrearage.
yes, you can use the child support to purchase a vehicle. Child support can be used for anything benefiting the child or children. A vehicle would help the child get to school, daycare, doctors appointments, etc... Child support is intended to support the child and can be used to pay bills (the child needs electricity, water, shelter, food, clothes and so on) so it can be used for various things.
Yes, child support and alimony are both considered debts owed by one parent to the other. As with any debt, failure to pay can be reported to credit bureaus and can negatively affect your credit rating.
Obviously you will claim your 2 children as dependents. It also depends on the childrens ages. They have to have resided in your residence for more than 6 months out of the year. You will eventually receive a child tax credit for them. If one of the children attends daycare, or you pay after school or daycare for that child, if you have paid out enough, you may be able to obtain the Child Dependant Care Credit. Check into it!
