It depends what kind of steroid you are using. Highly androgenic steroids that convert readily into oestragen will cause you to retain water and gain body fat, Steroids that do not convert to oestragen Can and most likely will help whoever is using them to lean up quite a bit e.g Stanazolol and Anavar.. But they are not miricle workers and you still need to diet and exersice correctly if you would like to see good results. Be safe!!

∙ 14y agoYou should not take steroids at all. They can have serious negative side effects. Some individuals do take steroids for specific health reasons, but only as prescribed by their physician. Never take steroids without being under a doctors care.
