No. It is your choice to take them out of the free public school system. All children are entitled to get a free public education Kindergarden through 12 th grade. Even tho we might think our children are not getting a good public education its alot better than it use to be. So if you choose to remove your child from your school system you will have to make sure you are qualified to teach your children at home,they will be tested at various times. Most child enjoy it for a time and then when they become teen agers want to return to public school to make friends and to play sports. There are pros and cons to both and it does give the parent something to think about.
