no but you do get to go to the battle, survival and resort areas after you beat the elite four and in those three areas there are Pokemon like rattattata, fearow, slugma, graveler etc. which will help some in completing your national dext but you have to migrate a lot of Pokemon from game boy Pokemon games or you can buy action replay and use the cheat codes on it hope i helped
