I do, but then I would, wouldn't I.... I have no defined criteria: I dish them out as the mood takes me. A good Bio here, a well phrased answer there.... there can be any number of reasons.
surely!!!!!
Yes, after all, if you can't trust yourself, how can others trust you?
You can get trust points on WikiAnswers by making many helpful edits and doing your best to make WikiAnswers a great Q&A site. When people see an answer you posted on a question, they have the option to "Recommend" you. When they do this, you receive a trust point. To earn trust point you have to answer questions. If the asker thinks your answer is good they will give you a trust point. Not all askers give trust points though. Good luck and keep answering!
Trust Point "earn" other contributor's and readers' trust and respect for the quality answers you give.
No. Even if there were, I wouldn't give them to you. You need to work for trust points, just like everybody else.
No. It may not give the best answers. Look for answers by people with large amounts of trust points.
When they have answered a question (probably that you asked) and given you all the information you were looking for.
Some people do; because they like to answer [questions], edit [answers], give [trust points], and receive [contributions and comments on their message board].
To give other users trust points on WikiAnswers, you just have to search for a question that they have recently answered, and scroll down to underneath the answer. It should say "Last edited by: ExampleUser" and, next to it, "Recommend Contributor". All you have to do is click on that and you have given them a trust point. Please give everyone that has given you a good answer a Trust Point to let them know they were a help. You can also recommend a contributor through their profile.
All it depends on is how many people look at the answer in all of your Q:'s that you answerd and if they think that they trust it they might give you a trust point. For example if a person answers a Q: then there are like 100 people looking at that Q: and they trust you you might get like 100 Trust Points from each person that trusted you.
It is other users who give trust points. They give you these points for seeing useful answers you have submitted.
No, because "trust points" on this site have different meaning then "trust points" in real life.
