No. You go to a kind of holding area before judgment. Jesus said to them man on the cross beside him "Today you will be with me in paradise". Then three days later he said to Mary "Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended to my Father". Here, Jesus refers to the holding area as paradise.

Hell is a place where the wrong are held there for final judgment. And they are supossedly ripped apart before their judgment some signs of this more likely symbolize passing from flesh to soul. Hell is where you go when you die if you are not a christain. You become a christain by believing in God and that Jesus die on the cross for your sins and rose from the dead in three days. You have to admit you have done some bad stuff, choose to become a christain, follow God, and make Him Lord of your life.
