If you're charged with concealed weapon, it could be serious, but then again, if the search was, and could be proved ilegal, then nothing.

NOw, for those that think that you can carry a knife anywhere, concealed, better check with local laws, as this is wrong in many cases.

Different states and cities have various laws regarding knives, such as legnth of blade, type of knife and if in belt case or pocket.

Where I live anything over 2-3/4 blade is illegal, and no auto opening or switch blades are legal.

A CCW permit does not include carrying a knife.

You will get arrested and charged and probably expelled from school.

Added: Also. . ., since your parents/guardians are still held legally liable for your actions as a minor, you will probably be getting them in difficulties with the law as well.

You would get into a lot of trouble still. You will most likely be suspended no matter what your excuse is.

It depends on how old you are. If your in highschool and its a Swiss army knife and you are not flashing it around like you own the place then im sure you will be fine. just don't get caught. but if your younger than that and bring rambo's survival knife and start taunting people with it yea. you're going to jail. I'll start calling you bubba.</

How long you serve if caught with knife?

well, you won't go to jail just for owning a knife and i believe many people carry a weapon for self defence in their car. I also know many people who carry a pocket knife. The only why they would care if you had a knife is if you had one at grade school, high school and i don't know about colledge. I don't know how much time you'd spend though
