At first, I was hesitant in taking APUSH because everyone said it was the hardest class in my school. When I finally did decide to take it, the class was challenging, but the I think it was the teacher and the atmosphere that made it enjoyable. As for the workload, there is a lot of reading. There are also analytical essays, essays that don't require flowery metaphors and themes, just cold-hard facts and analytical thinking.
The APUSH DBQs are different from the AP World History DBQs in that the APUSH DBQs require more outside information, while the APWH DBQs are based on documentary information.

Get yourself any number of SAT prep books from a bookstore and take a couple of the practice tests. You can analyze what areas you feel weak on and then review the material for that.

Not at all. America is a single country and the world is, well, the whole world- all two hundred or so countries. That should be obvious. Since this is in the AP category, I'm going to assume you are referring to APUSH vs WHAP difficulty levels...? In which case, I'm currently taking WHAP and I haven't taken APUSH, but I've heard APUSH is easier than WHAP... But everything will depend on your teacher, and of course your work ethic. My advice? Study A LOT and don't get discouraged!

There are 80 multiple choice questions, 2 FRQ's(fact based questions), and 1 DBQ(document question.) If you are taking the APUSH Exam then I wish you the best of luck! :)
