Women's clothing back then is nothing like today's the wore all kinds of things like a hat back then usually had feathers or veils on it today they have all kinds of pictures and stuff like that they still mite have feathers and veils. they also wore only knee high dresses and skirts they were required to wear a light colored slip or another dress underneath it. During the war people could only buy plain "utility" clothing.
