Yes.....Christian biblical baptism (for salvation) is accomplished by immersion (or "dunking") in the name of the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Spirit (Holy Ghost), and it is useless without Faith in God and His grace. Jesus himself was baptized "to fulfill all righteousness", as an example to his followers, although he did not do so "for forgiveness of sins" as we do.

Answer

A Catholic baptism involves a believer blessing water through the power of God and pouring it over a non-baptised person saying: I baptise you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (in otherwords, Through God's power I claim you for him.)

Christian baptism is done by immersion (in water) in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins: Acts 2:38, 8:16, 19:5, Rom 6:3.
