That is what The Bible says. The Bible says nobody is worthy to be in God's presence/heaven because all people have turned away from Him and do not follow His ways:
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
The Bible also says people will be judged because they have turned away from God:
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, ...........
Again, the Bible says God has provided a way for a person to escape the judgment that each person deserves:
Romans 6:23..................but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Bible says who ever believes Jesus Christ is the son of God and died as a sacrifice for sin will go to heaven/have eternal life. This is also what Jesus taught. Jesus said this:
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
