To watch a Bluray disc in high definition, an HD television is needed. However, almost all Bluray players have an analog, standard definition output that can be connected to televisions that are not HD and do not have HDMI inputs.
Yes they are. They all play DVDs and Blu-Ray discs.Yes they do. They need to be connected to the HDTV with 1080P and a HDMI cable for the Bluray to work as a Blue ray disc player
No. All current 3D disc content is HD and so use Bluray discs. You have to have a 3D Bluray player.
Could be nothing more than the Bluray DVD's that you're watching aren't encoded in 5.1 surround.
Any television will work with a Bluray player but to get the full quality of the Bluray format, you will need an HD television with an HDMI input. Televisions that do not have an HMDI input can use the analog output from the player but the signal will be SD rather than HD.
The TV will specify if it is a passive or active shutter.
You should use an HDMI cord TMANN SHS
Having a high-definition television is not required to attach a Blu-ray to your television, assuming that your television has the appropriate connections. For example, if both your television and Blu-ray player have standard composite video connections (red-white-yellow plugs) then you can use it. However, the picture will not be in high-definition unless it is being attached to an HDTV.
I have a sony bluray player conected to my tv by a hdmi cable only it wont work can anyone help me --------------- Go into the menu and set the output resolution to either 720p or 1080i and it should work on any HDTV that's not 1080p. If it doesnt, don't use an HDMI cable - use Red/Green/Blue (Component Video) cables to hook up to the TV. It will work fine at 720p. You will also need to connect additional red and white cables for sound.
Since the change-over from analog to digital, the use of an HDTV antenna became necessary for many television sets. Due to this, many stores now carry HDTV antennas in their electronics section. Some stores to try may include Target, Walmart, or Best Buy.
yes, DVD/VCR can be used with a HDTV. anonymous@oola.com
Plug it into your TV with the cable that came with it or if you have a HDTV buy a HDMI cable and plug that into your HDTV and PS3.. Plug the power in and turn it on. You should see it on your TV screen and if not turn your TV to the same input you plugged the PS3 into. Owners of the 720P HDTVs or those without HDMI can buy PS3 component cables with 5 color coded connections that use RCA plugs for the HDTV inputs. Both the HDTV 1080p and 720 HDTV owners can connect with the A/V cable that came with the PS3, but then it will be standard 480i from your PS3
its a cable that allows you to use a HDTV for your monitor. most of the time you need a good graphics card to use it.
