Do you have to confess your sins to go to heaven or will you be saved as long as you believe in Jesus Christ?

you have to confess, The Bible tells us "If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins" just remember God is the Truth my God my Light my Solution! The Bible has the answer to this:
5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. There is no Biblical requirement to confess any sins except to God alone. Salvation is solely through faith in the completed work of Jesus Christ the eternal Son of God. Confession is sometimes taught as a work which is necessary to salvation. This is false and is not taught anywhere in the Bible. After all, it would not be possible to know if we had confessed everything, or enough, or that we were truly sincere.
8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

In the verse above, the jailer at Philippi had a question relating specifically to this issue. In the answer given by Paul there is no mention of confession, which there certainly would have been if it was necessary. Confession is indeed mentioned in scripture but never in connection with salvation. See also what Jesus himself had to say below:
