Must be US citizen
usually it need pay taxes from abroad, abroad
You can only claim citizenship of a country if you are such. In any case, it would make no difference as far as taxation is concerned. If you earn income in the United States, you are still responsible to pay U. S. Income Taxes and to file a tax return. Being a citizen of another country can only make you possibly subject to their taxes as well if the other country requires it. The only difference is that if you also earned income in the other country as well and paid taxes to the other country, you can use the tax paid to another country as a deduction on your U. S. Tax Return if you have proof of such.
The US does not officially recognize "dual citizenship." That doesn't mean it's illegal or anything, just that they don't care: if you are a US citizen, then you pay US income tax, regardless of whether or not you are a citizen of some other country as well.I don't know what the German rules are, but it's at least possible you could have to pay income tax to both.If you're living in one country and could theoretically claim citizenship in the other but haven't done so yet, as far as taxes are concerned you could be better off just ignoring your potential citizenship. If you're living in Germany, the US does have treaties with some countries which allow US citizens living abroad to deduct taxes paid to those countries from their income for US tax purposes, at least partly. You should contact the IRS for their publications on tax treaties and citizens living abroad (publications 54 and 901, I believe).
When a citizen refuses to pay taxes it is called tax evasion.
No.Well, you can claim you love him dearly...but you can't claim him on your taxes as a dependent.
yes...but he may be subject to certain non-resident taxes
A US citizen living (or dying) anywhere in the world owes the same US taxes as any other US citizen.
paying taxes
You are not responsible for the taxes of your dependents unless you control their assets or you were somehow involved in a plan to prevent them from paying their taxes. The IRS will penalize the dependent and/or go after the dependent's assets to collect taxes.
Being a dependent of someone else for tax purposes decreases the amount of money you will get from the government. This mean you are not supplying the majority of your living expenses, someone else is and they should be able to use you as a dependent on their taxes.
Citizen of Athens had to pay taxes with the rich not having to pay taxes. The rich did have to pay for thing that the tax money didn't cover.
