Members of our forum have had little need to do anything to the systems that run Dexcool in the proper mix. The only issues we have seen are the guys that have changed back to the green coolant.
The Dex lasts 5 years and then a simple drain and refill is all that has been needed.

No You don't Need to change the water pump But you should change it and the thermostat if radiator was full of sludge. if not then no to both.
If you have replaced the water pump then flush the radiator with CLR also check to see if the fan is working properly.
drain the radiator, disconnect the radiator hose from the water pump. disconnect the water pump. lay down the seal connect the new water pump. connect the hose back to the radiator. its pretty easy
Remove the serpentine belt. Drain the water from the radiator. Remove the radiator hose from the water pump. Remove the water pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new water pump.
Yes, the water pump can leak if you do a coolant flush.
flush the radiator if that don't the work water pump is going out
Yes.
In order to change the water pump the first step is removing the grill and then the radiator fan assembly. Once this is done the water pump is accessible it will have four bolts that must be removed in order to take out the water pump.
generally, water pumps leak when defective but still pump water. could be thermostat, plugged radiator, loose belt, low coolant answer if pump is not leaking, get engine to running temp and remove radiator cap look in to see if water is circulating if water is circulating it is not the pump i would change thrmostat then check radiator cap
The lower radiator hose connects the radiator and the water pump
Follow the lower radiator hose from the radiator , it connects to the water pump
follow the lower radiator hose from the radiator to the water pump
