Yes you have to graduate from there, however you don't have to attend that school for the full amount of years. You can go somewhere else and transfer in senior year and still be qualified as alumni. Good Luck! :)

What are the examples of restricted language?

Think of your alma mater .When you were in school , the building was new and modern. You called it 'your school'. After many years ,after many years it looks very old fashioned building and in a bad condition. You still call it 'your school'. Are not the same words to describe the building in its different states? This is one example of restricted language because there is no symbol or word can transmit the exact reality.

Would it be possible for a qualified vet to train as a doctor wold it be necessary to begin at level 1 since already have a degree?

a lot of the core coursework for most pre-med and pre-vet programs are the same, you wouldn't have to start completely over again and may even be able to begin at grad school level, at the very least you would likely be able to skip a fair amount of the undergrad work. Call the admissions office of the school of your choice or your alma mater and ask if you can speak to one of their councellors about it
