Although dropping out of highschool is not a good idea, sometimes it can be necessary.You can still receive your diploma if and only if, you have earned the required # of credits, and you have passed the required test(s).Another alternative to a highschool diploma is a GED, just remember only do this if it's absolutely necessary.

You are not an adult until 18. No matter what your reason might be, you will regret it later in life. Even when you realize the mistake and get a GED, it is not the same thing and will make finding a job very difficult. Whatever the issue might be, there is probably a better solution than dropping out. Talk to a counselor and see if they can offer you some suggestions.

yes, just make sure you have a plan such as a job & tafe and other options. I dropped out in year 9 and it was possibly the best thing to happen to me..
