It depends on the type of contract you've gotten. If you have purchased a pay-as-you-go phone you'll have to pay the full amount for the phone, plus a certain amount of airtime usually. If you've purchased a phone on contract however, you may not have to pay the full amount out right. Instead you will have to pay so much money every month which is generally put on your phone as airtime/top up.
