No, you do not. It is not required to post artwork to have a deviantart account.
If you are asking whether you have to create the artwork for the prints yourself, then yes, you do. If you are asking whether you have to get the artwork printed yourself, and then sell them through DeviantART (like you would on ebay), then no - DeviantART does all the printing itself. All you have to do is create the artwork, submit it to your profile and then submit it as a print. Whenever someone orders a print, you get the payment and DeviantART does the printing and the sending.
Click the button that says submit and then Artwork... Fill out what you need to and then click submit artwork at the bottom of the page.
Just submit your artwork and ignore the print stuff. It'll still be uploaded.
First you set up an account. Second you go to your email, and validate your email account. Third you set up your profile. Finally, you are ready to show off what you created by uploading it to the website servers!
It depends on what media the artwork is. For two dimensional and digital pieces (and maybe three dimensional, I'm not 100% sure), there is a website called deviantART where you can sell your artwork as posters. You can also auction your artwork on eBay if you request a reasonable price.

You have to get their permission before doing so, otherwise it's a copyright violation and it breaks the law.
On deviantART, "WIP" stands for "Work In Progress." It refers to artwork or projects that an artist is currently developing but has not yet completed. Artists often share WIPs to showcase their creative process, receive feedback, or engage with their audience before finalizing their work.
