I have a PC, laptop and xbox running and i have a modem and router downstairs with a wire leading upstairs then a netgear high speed hub splitting my connection 3 ways to my PC etc , but i don't think u need a hub if your router has multiple ethernet slots.

∙ 11y agoI don't quite understand what you mean. If you mean to create a network you will need a switch and 4 ethernet cables. then you can connect one ethernet cable to the router and the other end into the switch then from there connect the other three into the switch and into the back of the computers. they will be able to see each other as part of a network.

∙ 9y agoA hub is not required to connect three PCs and two PCs together. A switch is commonly used to allow multiple computers to communicate together.
