Premium gas is recommended. Higher quality you will use - higher performance you will have. Using high quality unleaded gasoline will reduce the fuel consumption and will increase the performances. The engine will suffer only if you use low quality gasoline!
The BMW 323 i takes Premium gas,but can use mid grade as well. premium is preferred.
BMW only takes gas rated at octane 91 or higher, and that is Premium at the gas station.
BMW always recommends using 98 RON petrol (gas). Which is premium unleaded.
Premium 91+
Premium Unleaded according to the owner's manuals.
The good thing about the x3 is that it's a more reliable BMW than other BMWs. You can have the option of using regular or premium without damaging it. But even tho regular is cheaper, you get less miles to the gallon than premium. So it pretty much balances out. It's a better idea to use premium.
As you failed to list which model 2000 BMW, I cannot provide an answer. BMW makes many vehicles including diesels. All I can tell you is to use exactly what the owner's manual states. if it states Premium, then use Premium. Using Regular can cause engine damage over time. If it says use Regular, then use Regular. The use of Premium is a waste of money and provides no benefit whatsoever. Of course it it is a Diesel, then use the correct Diesel.
Premium unleaded is recommended, but I'm running 92 octane std unleaded at the moment, hasn't made any difference. Pete
Yes. You may not get the same performance (horsepower) as you would with premium gas, but modern cars can run fine on any grade of unleaded gas.
It depends what kind of BMW you get, if it's a bigger one like the X360 then it takes up more gas than the smaller ones, but all BMWs gas is expensive because they use premium
yes, since all bmws recommend using only premium gasoline. look at your fuel filler door and fuel cap, they should say to use only premium gasolin.
I use a synthetic 5w-40 for my 1994 C280. Also I only use premium grade gas.
