yup if you dont that cake gonna get rotten lol. Trust me i encountered quite a a few family members who thinks cake cant get rotten but it does.
Actually, it is considered to be poor food hygiene to put food in the fridge if it is not completely cold all the way through. (Same thing goes for freezing food). This is because warm food has the capacity to warm up the other food around it, even in a fridge or freezer, so if there is any form of meat, fish, soft cheese or eggs etc... in the fridge there is a risk of warming them, allowing bacteria to breed and getting food poisoning as a result.
You should because as the cake cooks moisture is still evaporating from the cake. If you put it in the fridge too soon, the moisture will collect back on the cake and make it soggy.
first let it cool off if it's already cooled off then put the cake on a plate and cover it with a plastic film and put it in the fridge
i would store in a cool dry place so i say fridge or cupbored
Put it in the fridge
You can put it in the fridge, or you can leave it on the counter to cool. If you want the fudge to set faster then the Fridge is your best bet.
It will cool quicker with the lid off, but aside from that it makes no difference. (Although for food hygiene purposes it is better to cool it off quickly and then put it in the fridge).
can you put the filling in the oven along with the crust
Put it in a cool place. I have put it in the fridge to keep.
Whipping cream and dairy products should be stored in the fridge....to maintain shape as well as to prevent bacteria from growing.
Blow on it. Or put it in the fridge for a couple of minutes.
you put it in the fridge or the freezer for a short amount of time
The best way is to cool it FAST. This will insure no bacteria can form. A icewater bath is the best way to cool hot food. Put the food in a sealed container and then put the container in a larger container that you can half fill with ice and water to cool the food down fast.
Put it in the fridge. by Sarah Cisternas. While living in Japan we were told to put a piece of bread in the cake container and it really seems to work- by Lynne Rose.
