because. once you beat him there is a secret compartment outside the dojo. ( its in the courtyard, the little block with wierd writing on it. go touch it. it will send you to a place unknown in the dojo. a secret compartment. in there should be a ninja catolog. inside should be a bunch of ninja stuff. INCLUDING THE NINJA MASK. hope i helped you.
