There are many different views about this but some main arguments against are;
1-home can be more comfortable as it makes you want to enjoy worshipping, and helps to focus
2-if God is omnipresent then surely it doesn't matter where you worship
3-you can worship outside to see all of God's creations
4-There can be distractions from other people and of things around you at church.
5-you can worship with Christian friends at home because early Christians did not have churches.
However there are some reasons to agree with this, here are the arguments against;
1- you could get too comfy and fall asleep which ruins the point of worship
2- a church is probably more holy than your living room and also at church there is numinosity.
3- churches are designed specifically for worship which can honour God and show God's glory
4- There can be distractions at home as well, for example, the doorbell or the phone.
5- fellowship at church is easy to find. Quote from Jesus 'Where two or three are gathered I will be with you therefore with others help you feel closer to God'
