1. YES!!! That's my name... the only downside is that since it is a unique name and you can't find mugs w/ ur name on it. Oh well it's a cool name!

2. No, Marina must be a made up name like Shaquanla or Moesha.

3. YEAH :-) it's my name.. i like it cause it's unique, like nobody is called Marina. I agree with answer one though - it's really hard to find mugs with your name on it LOL. Answer 2 is stupid, it does exist and has done for years, there was a Princess Marina, and a couple of Saints called Marina. Matt Le Blanc's daughter is called Marina - yay :-) xoxo

4. It's my name too. I agree with number 1 and 3. It's a pretty cool name, but you can't find any mugs or keychains with my name.

5. Of coarse its my name to its the complete awesomest name in the world and its not made up its a Greek, Latin, Spanish, Russian, and Czech name. I Greek it means daughter of Poseidon and in Latin it means daughter of Neptune and the god of mars which i really don't get. Plus in Spanish it means from the ocean, and another contributing factor to its awesomeness, Is that Marinas a knee slappin' wicked name. Who cares about t-shirts and keychains, but they do have some pretty yaytastic swim-caps at chuys that say "Marina" on them with a Viking fish!!!!!

6. My name is also Marina and I love it. Its a very popular name in many other countries, but I'm not surprised at all to find that in America most people think that Marina is a place where you land boats and not a name. I was very surprised that the receptionist at a hotel I was checking in was considering naming his daughter Marina.

7. As for Marina meaning being from Mars, it makes no sense to me. I think whoever said that might have actually meant Martina. And Mars is actually the Roman Name for the War God.
