It just depends on where you'll need to go to make money.
Yes
you have to have imagination and skill
They wear what they create, it's their style their way.
there is probably no way unless you have a scholarship. obv.
Try going to Social Attire. It's a great way for you to gain exposure as a new designer!
You need to go to collage and do 4 years of fashion school. After that you start out small with your fashion industy and work your way up to the big stuff.
The purpose of fashion shows is to show off the upcoming line of clothing from a particular designer. The designer highlights the clothing and the way they want it to be seen. Fashion shows are also how fashion trends start. For instance if a designer at one of the premier shows has a lot of animal prints then expect animal prints to show up in all lines of clothing.

If you are asking how to be a model for designer brand clothing, the best way is to be an agency represented fashion model. Or you can freelance without an agent and try to find fashion shows locally that need models.
A fashion designer is someone who works with the fashion of the time and presents catwalk shows and adverts in magazines such as I-D and Vogue where as a costume designer designs for certain plays, dances, pantomimes, films, programmes etc. for the actors, singers, dancers etc but they don't follow fashion or try and set a certain trend. There clothes concepts are up to the director of the production (or whatever it may be) and the clothing has to suit the character and the style of the production. A fashion designer can be a costume designer but a costume designer can't be a fashion designer. eg: an old fashioned play about a slave - the slave wears a thin dirty dress made of poor mans fabric and scruffy shoes. Or a modern play about New York life - the main character wears a suit most of the time and is styled very cleanly.
