∙ 11y agoYou should get an iPad, it has iBooks and a kindle app on it so it defeats the kindle fire's purpose. Also, the Apple iPad has a much nicer interface and design.

∙ 12y agoYou don't need to own a kindle to buy kindle books. Kindle books(usually in .epub format), can be read in just about any e-reader. There are also apps that can be downloaded for free.
