It's not necessary to provide heating. I've had chickens in an unheated coop when the temperature was MINUS 30 degrees F (-34 C) for 3 weeks. None of the chickens perished. Little frail-looking chickadees do not migrate for the winter. These tiny birds do not have thick feathers like chickens, and are not sheltered from the harsh sub-zero temperatures, yet they survive. Chickens can maintain some body heat by huddling together, as well as their straw provides some insulation. You could provide a heat lamp but the brightness, would interfere with their sleeping pattern (which effects egg production).
only if it gets too cold in there.
