You need the receiver. Plug it in like a normal controller, and switch on the guitar at the bottom on the side - you'll see it. It should flash red. Look at the receiver. If it also flashes red when you press a button, etc., you're hooked up to the ps2. Congrats =p x
Yes you could because you will still need a guitar to play so yes. unless you want a wireless guitar
Yes, you need the guitar. Without the guitar you cannot punch on the color coded keys. If you could play without the guitar the game would show the button names to punch instead.
No you can't. Rockband is for the 360 and PS3. Guitar hero controllers wouldn't even be able to be plugged into the console. Actually, Rockband does come for the ps2, and yes you can use guitar hero guitars for Rockband. Rockband also comes for the WII. No you can not.
You need a guitar to play the guitar and bass. If you try to use a normal controller you will only be able too play as vocals, you cannot play guitar or bass with a normal controller.
you need to put a AAA battery in it and turn it on by pressing the little black button.
Yes, you need a guitar hero wireless control, or a guitar hero USB microphone, or guitar hero drumset. You cannot play with the wii remote alone.
AA's
All guitars in the GH series will work with any game as long as its the same platform, if that's what you're asking.
depends what console you have, it it is a wii then you can put in the wii remote into the controller, but if it is ps3 or xbox then you need a signal receiver that you plug into the console, it also depends what guitar you have
you need a controller (Guitar controller or xbox controller) and i think you need a little receiver (or is it not needed?) and the game, and a tv

Guitar Hero World Tour and Guitar Hero Metallica
Sounds like you're running Frets on Fire and wanna upgrade from computer keyboards and imagination. I assume, therefore, that you're referring to Xbox 360 controllers, because they're the easiest to install. You can buy Wired Guitar Hero X-Plorer Controllers (The ones that came with Guitar Hero 2) for about 20 bucks, now. Some stores still have them packaged up and on sale. They're all over the internet, too, used and new. I bought mine from a buddy who had a 360. If you're looking to go wireless, you need to spend about 60 bucks- 40 for a Guitar Hero Les Paul (The ones that came with Guitar Hero 3) and 20 for the Xbox 360 wireless receiver for Windows.
no. i have guitar hero world tour but my guitar is decorated for guitar hero aerosmith.
No, you need a Guitar Hero guitar.
