No you can't. Rockband is for the 360 and PS3. Guitar Hero controllers wouldn't even be able to be plugged into the console.
Actually, Rockband does come for the ps2, and yes you can use guitar hero Guitars for Rockband. Rockband also comes for the WII. No you can not.

∙ 12y agoNo way is Guitar Hero better than Rockband (any Guitar Hero). In Guitar Hero it's just you and the guiter. In Rockband you can have up to 4 instruments going at the same time, or you can just play one instrument. Plus you can customize your own character. Rockband is head and shoulders above Guitar Hero.
Dont listen to that at the top, Guitar Hero is way better. Rockband just copied off Guitar Hero. If it wasn't for Guitar Hero Rockband would never be out in da stores.
Guitar Hero is much better......and they have come out with full band for guitar hero so guitar hero all the way.And plus, guitar hero has SO much better songs!!oh yah and you can customize your own character on world tour, metallica,van halen,and guitar hero 5 so take that rock band! Both of you are wrong rock band 2 is better even better graphics than guitar hero and rock band 1 and customize your characters and better gameplay and also the notes or cubes break.

∙ 13y agoYes you can, all you need is to buy a rock band remote for the system that you have guitar hero for. Then you can use your rock band remote on guitar hero.
It depends what system you have it for. If it is for Xbox 360, you definitely can.

∙ 9y agoNo, a Xbox 360 Guitar Hero 2 guitar would not work for Rock Band. They are completely different games, and you are not able to transfer guitars from one game to another.

∙ 14y agoYes but i dont think that they work as good as guitar hero guitars. and it also depends on what game system you use. I know for sure that Rock Band equitment does work with GH:M for PS2.

The Rock Band drums will make it so a pad is taken off when you play. The Guitar will not do anything extra with the solo buttons. The microphone shouldn't change at all.
