No, you do not need it. I personally don't like it because when it gets tangled you can't untangle it and it costs you a spool of really expensive. You can use it but you need at least 3 feet of mono or fluorocarbon leader otherwise the fish will see it and won't bite. I prefer 15 pound p-line because it is stronger than what it says.
You need level 30 fishing to fish salmon.
Salmon fishing is restricted in California and Oregon due to overfishing in previous years and the need to keep the salmon population at a sustainable level. It is only permitted to fish at certain times of year, the number of fish allowed to be taken is limited, and coho or silver salmon is not allowed to be fished at all.
In order to fish you would need a fishing pole, bait and hooks. The line on the fishing pole should also have a bobber in order to tell if there is a fish on the line.
A good way to catch fish is by knowing how they act, like if they like worms or not. I would take a marshmallow, a fishing pole and everything you need for regular fishing. Hope this helps! :)
The line needs to be changed regularly, especially if it is being used in saltwater. Most fishing line is made out of nylon and nylon's grade is significantly dependant on the environment and where is has been used.
Yes, fishing stores will supply you with all the supplies you need for fishing. This includes rods, bait and, line for your fishing rod, and lures as examples
80lbs
To catch a keeper sized grouper around the skyway you will need a minimum of 20lb test main line with a 30 to 40lb leader line. Personally i use 40lb braided line tied to a 50lb leader. For your rod you will need something pretty beefy, it should be rated to handle the 40lb line u are using. Put a large 4-8 inch live fish on your line under a float and let it drift out on the south side of the pier...
It depends on what kind of fishing you want to do, usually rod, reel, line, weights and hooks and don't forget about bait. Here is a great source for fishing informationwww.southernohiopaylakes.proboards.com
The amount of line needed for bowfishing typically ranges from 50 to 100 feet, depending on the type of fishing and the conditions. Most anglers prefer a line that is at least 80-pound test braided line for durability and strength. It's also important to consider the type of fish being targeted, as larger species may require more line to effectively reel them in. Always ensure that your setup is appropriate for the specific environment and targets.
Well you use 200lb
For lake fishing, you will need a fishing pole, fishing line, hooks, sinkers, bobbers, bait, and a tackle box to store your gear. Additionally, you may want to consider bringing a net, pliers, and a cooler to keep your catch fresh.
