It would be pointless to keep the charger unless you have a second DS Lite with which to use it. The DS series have different types of chargers for each individual DS, so a DS Lite charger would not work with a DSi.
you cant because you need to have your recite if you bought it at that store
No, just go out and buy a new one.
No, the Nintendo DS charger is different than the DS lite chager
No, the DSi charger is different than the DS lite charger

Australian DS lite chargers can be used in Australia. A charger from another country may need an adaptor to fit the three-pronged 240v 'Type I' sockets. However an Australian charger can be used on any DS lite, regardless of where that console came from.
No, the DSi uses a different charge to the DS lite.

No. The DS lite charger is much smaller than the SP charger.
depends. some places just need the DS itself ( a stylus is usually wanted but not all the time). others want the charger with it (someplaces dont care if you have the charger or not but pay extra if you have it too)
A DS Lite Charger can be used to charge a Nintendo DS Lite. It's best to always fully charge the battery once it's empty. This will give a longer live to your battery.
No because on DSi, the slot for the charger is smaller than the DS lite, it has a thicker slot.Nintendo DS and Wii ExpertNadine Barnett
