Yes. Before you see the judges, you have to perform for a camera in a room. If your act is not possible in a small room- eg a dance group , you send them a video tape. These tapes are looked at, and a selection of people get through to seeing the judges. To find out whether you ave got through you either get a phonecall or a letter. Phonecall means you are through, letter means you are not. ifyou get through you will be called back to perform in front of the judges.
